Qualifications: Advanced Secondary Education (Ordinary Diploma), Division one or two, TCU-1.

 The candidate for the Master’s degree scholarship must have a B.A. or Specialist degree education in an allied field.

 The candidates must provide the following documents not later than February 22, 2017:

 -Passport (fully readable pages with the name, date and place of issue and validity period), the validity expiring not earlier than 18 months after the opening date of the education visa;

 -Birth certificate;

 -Medical certificate confirming full physical fitness for studying;

 -Medical certificate confirming the negative results of HIV/AIDS and TB tests;

 -Advanced and Basic Secondary Education Certificates;

 -8 color photos (size: 4x6cm)

 The duration of Bachelor degree Programme in Russia is 4 academic years and that of Master degree Programmes is 2 academic years additionally. For those candidates who do not speak Russian the duration of study will be increased by one year for completing the preparatory faculty.

 Candidates enrolled for regular studies (Bachelor and Master degrees) should arrive in Russia on September 1-15, 2016.

 Apart from the tuition-free course, all of them will be provided by the Russian side with a monthly student’s allowance and accommodation in students’ hostels at discount fees.

 The Russian side shall not bear transit and other expenses.

 Students preparing to leave for Russia are to be prepared to cover their air fares, are recommended to be well equipped for all weather conditions, including cold winters (warm clothes and footwear), have the amount of cash not less than 250 US dollars to cover expenses for travelling within Russia place of studies and be able to cover their own day-to-day expenses during the whole period of studying (not less than 250 US dollars per month). Each student must obtain a medical insurance policy (not less than 250 US dollars per year).

 The applications are to be made through the Embassy of Russia, Russian Culture Centre, Ministry of Education of Tanzania or Tanzania Commission for Universities not later than February 22, 2017*.

 Unfortunately, no opportunities for studying Medicine have been made available to Tanzania this year. Below are the available courses.

 All of the documents (but the passport) will need to be translated at the Russian Culture Centre (Seaview road, plot 45, opp. Aga Khan Hospital). Translations should bear not only the stamp of the Centre, but also be certified at the Consular section of the Embassy of Russia.
