Meeting with Minister of Natural Resources and Tourism of Tanzania Hon. Amb. Dr. Pindi Chana

Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Tanzania H.E. Andrey Avetisyan had a meeting with Minister of Natural Resources and Tourism of Tanzania Hon. Amb. Dr. Pindi Chana.

The negotiations were focused on the issues of bilateral cooperation in trade, economic, investment and cultural spheres including tourism. Minister Chana confirmed that Tanzania is willing to enhance cooperation with a view to the implementation of joint projects.

The parties also discussed potential areas of joint work with regards to the planned working visit of Russian tour operators to Tanzania, which objective is to promote the country among Russian tourists as a destination.

The counterparts highlighted the importance of building up educational cooperation.
