Meeting with Secretary General of Tanzania’s ruling CCM party

Ambassador of the Russian Federation H.E. Mr. Andrey Avetisyan held a meeting with Secretary General of ruling Chama cha Mapinduzi (CCM) party of the United Republic of Tanzania Dr. Emmanuel John Nchimbi.

The Parties discussed the development of Russian-Tanzanian inter-party ties, primarily between the United Russia party and the Chama cha Mapinduzi party, which are in power in Russia and Tanzania, and drew attention to the prospects for strengthening bilateral interaction on a wide range of issues, including agriculture, energy, tourism and cultural and educational exchange.

The conversation also focused on the issues of the international agenda. Both sides agreed that the new multipolar world should be built on the norms of generally recognized international law.
