Relevant Information for Foreign Citizens and Stateless Persons Planning to Visit Russia
According to the revised Decree of July 21, 2020, issued by the Chief State Sanitary Physician of the Russian Federation, foreign citizens and stateless persons entering or transiting the Russian Federation are required to provide a medical certificate with a negative COVID-19 test result based on RT-PCR method in either Russian or English, obtained no earlier than three days before the day of arrival in the Russian Federation.
Besides, foreign citizens and stateless persons have to complete the Arriving Passenger Card before they enter the territory of the Russian Federation in order to ensure sanitary control at border checkpoints.
Should foreign citizens and stateless persons be not able to provide a medical certificate in Russian or English they may present it in the official language of the state where the organization authorized the document was registered. Such a medical certificate should be presented with translation into Russian and authenticity of its translation is required to be confirmed by a consular official of the Russian Federation.
Foreign citizens and stateless persons arriving in Russia for the purpose of employment have to undergo 14-days self-isolation.
